MAUI, HI

Maui Peace Action and the Maui Community College Peace Club  co-sponsored a showing to the public Friday night, Dec. 8, of "Breaking Ranks." It was very well received. An additional treat at the film showing was a short preview concert by nationally known folk singer-songwriters and political satirists Charlie King and Karen Brandow. The following day, Sat. Dec. 9, Charlie and Karen entertained for an hour with rousing songs of solidarity and peace at the Gallery Ha in Wailuku, Maui, during the holiday street fair. Sorry, we didn't take pictures.
