TALLAHASSEE, FL

Almost 30 people, including members of Veterans for Peace, Vietnam Veterans Against the War, CodePink, Military Families Speak Out and students preparing for finals week, had a small, but spirited demonstration at Florida's Old Capitol East steps in Tallahassee, Sunday afternoon, December 10 in support of the GI Resistance and GI Resisters.

We were well received by passing traffic with horns sounding most of the time. An active duty LCP Marine, to be deployed to Iraq in March, stopped by and talked. Admitted situation was FUBAR, He was scared of careerist and incompetent commanders, but he had his oath and Corps and he was going.
