Anytime I meet a war resister or a troop who has suffered command rape, I know there are more. Troops are forced to lose their humanity by killing innocents and violating their own brothers and sisters. Courage to Resist aims to set the record straight and also to aid those who reach out of conflict to touch hope.

Mélida Arredondo's step-son Marine L/Cpl Alex Arrendondo was killed in action on August 25, 2004 in An Najaf, Iraq.
