For refusing to participate in an illegal and immoral war, Lt. Watada is facing 6 years in prison and a military court martial.
Patriots For Peace join the AFSC, Military Families Speak Out, Gold Star Families For Peace, and Veterans For Peace in support of Lt. Watada's right to stand up and speak out for his principals, for the rule of international law and the U.S. Constitution. We salute his courageous moral leadership and stand in solidarity with him as he faces a court martial for following his conscience.
