First public Iraq War military objector

Courage to Resist has been a key figure in the organizing of support for conscientious objectors like myself. They have spent countless hours in their campaign to help provide conscientious objectors with vital resources, and have been pivotal in raising awareness for war resistance. Although Courage to Resist had not yet formed when I began speaking out in early 2003, many on the staff - some war resisters themselves - played significant parts in my public campaign. They are some of the most dedicated antiwar activists I know and this group is a very important part of the movement. Courage to Resist supports the troops that refuse to fight, and they in turn deserve our support.
