ImageDan Felushko, 26, enlisted in the Marines after 9/11. In January, 2003, his unit was ordered to Kuwait to prepare for the invasion of Iraq. Instead, he went to Canada, where he has dual citizenship. “I didn't see a connection between the attack on America and Saddam Hussein,” he said. “If I died or killed somebody in Iraq, that would have been wrong.”
