ImageArmy Sergeant Ricky Clousing, 25, went AWOL from Fort Bragg, North Carolina in June 2005 after returning from six months in Iraq. While there, he witnessed many “war crimes” which he reported to superiors without effect. He turned himself in August 2006 and in October was sentenced to 3 months confinement before being released with a bad conduct discharge. He has spoken out against the war, calling it a "war of aggression" with "no legal basis.”
