Army Sgt., New York native, from a military family, served 9 years in the Army. Began to oppose war in Iraq while stationed in Kuwait during 2003-2004. While on leave from Fort Campbell, KY, in 2005, went AWOL rather than be deployed to Iraq. Joined other resisters in Canada, where he currently resides and awaits a ruling on his application for refugee status. “If you want to support the troops, bring them home.”
