ImageIn September-October, 2004, Army Private David Bunt, a father of three, served 45 days in the brig at Camp LeJeune, saying he “realized he couldn’t pull the trigger to kill another human.” . He had applied for CO status after serving one year in Afghanistan. After his application was denied, he pled guilty to missing a parachute jump. He was discharged from the military in 2005.
